Backburner Art #10a- Pokemon: Crystal Version (Main Campaign)
Made a whole new brush for this one.
It's truly inspiring to me seeing the actual upgrade between Yellow's Main Campaign art and this. The style of my art has definitely been improving, and that makes me happy.
First up, Bramble is the name of the trainer, therefore BrambleClaw is the one with the team. She is wearing the beanie that the female trainer was wearing. Bramble has a smug look on her face (or at least, that was what I was attempting), glancing off to the side like "yea piece of cake."
Charcoal the Typhlosion and Alphy the Xatu make use of a new brush I made. It's supposed to mimic dust or smoke. Charcoal is coughing from his own smokescreen, and Alphy is charred from being thunderstruck out of the sky. Charcoal is giving a peace sign, because he helped :).
Behind Charcoal is the Dragonair Drayr. He looks pissed because he mostly did nothing to help, aside from one time he was out because I needed to pivot from his fainting.
Unilotl, the Quagsire, is just enjoying life. Meanwhile Sickell the Sneasel is in pain on all fours. The ice around his left fist is due to his overabundant usage of Ice Punch.
Duostryk was the real team carrier here. Its doing a victory pose, where it is showcasing its lightning abilities.
Meanwhile in the background, Bronze (our rival) is being pestered by my first ever legitimate shiny encounter that wasn't scripted: Shynchieve the Tentacool.
