Backburner Art #12b- Rain World: The Watcher (Survivor)
Pebble's turn to get drawn better, karma symbols, an echo of a higher being, and lighting.

Normally, Five Pebbles's chamber doesn't have the ambient red glow when he's actually giving you information, but I thought it looked cool.
Five Pebbles is telling Survivor (and their slugpups: Cinnamon on the left and Mint on the right) about the Karma, and the Echoes. He is displaying the Karma Symbols, and a faint vision of an Echo is behind him.
I had no idea on how to do shading if every single wall in the room had that glow, so I just had the light source be somewhere in the middle of the room, mostly to get the lighting effects I wanted.
I enjoyed drawing Five Pebbles this time, he definitely looks a lot better than what I first drew him as. To differentiate his antenna from Moon's, Pebbles has an extra part to his. Also, while it doesn't show up here, I gave his outfit the gradient it has in the game.
The Karma symbols weren't all too difficult, the longest part was doing the last half (the ones that the Echoes raise it to). I did my best to get them in a sort of circle around Pebbles, and I have to say, it looks pretty goddamn circular.
The echo was my favorite part to do, especially since I wanted to do it justice. Last time I drew one was for the Birthday Stream Art, the one where I did an expedition that first led me to the one on the Exterior, before showing the rest. It's blurred out so that you don't see that the echo is just a mass of messy brush lines. This time I actually looked at what their designs are. They have that "face" tentacle, four "arm" tentacles, and several tendrils, all coming from the dark mass in the center. The tentacles also all have that golden flaky design, where cross-hatching is used to give it texture.
It's a shame that the art piece can't show the echo in full, because that will ruin the vision I had. Plus, I like how it blends in here. I used a blend mode, and then reduced the opacity, from what I recall.
