Backburner Art #12c- Rain World: The Watcher (Hunter)

Found the chance to use some new brushes I made. Also, I worked on my background drawing skills and gave my attempt at designing NSH.

It's easy! Just follow the path. STICK TO IT!! If you do, you'll be alright.

This one turned out pretty damn cool, if I do say so myself.

I've already talked about the rubbish brush I made, and you can see it being used in the area where my signature is, but I also made a grass brush. You can see its use on both of the mid-level platforms. Hunter is on the one closest to us, holding the slag reset keys stored in the green neuron fly.

Included in the background is one of the weird trunk plants in Farm Arrays (the location of this picture). It's got these weird caramelled goop-like things that are on its thick red stem, and I am proud with how I managed to make it look. On the walls of the background, you can see the other brush I made, that being a "charcoal" texture. I didn't feel like doing too much detail work, so I just drew some things.

To show that Hunter is having a flashback, I have in the top-left corner a scene of No Significant Harassment (shortened to NSH, or Sig) detailing Hunter's mission to them. I looked at many iterations (pun intended) of NSH fanart, because the most the game gives us is that mark on their forehead, some fuzzy designs of their cloak, their antenna headphones, and their general color. I think he turned out well. Especially so due to the shading done on him. He has the plan in the hologram that usually get displayed by observers, and it worked well with giving me the chance to make highlights on stuff.

All in all, I'm enjoying my run on doing all these Rain World completion arts.
