Backburner Art #14d- The Henry Stickmin Collection (Infiltrating the Airship)
More understanding of the art style, background practice again (with clouds), and- oh look, it's Charles!

This is where the series really popped off. It introduced the Toppat Clan, which is a criminal organization that lives on a GODDAMN SICK BAD-ASS AIRSHIP. It also introduces the fact that the government is after them, and they kidnapped Henry to recruit him, hoping that the temptation of a pardon will have him comply.
First off, we don't see much of the inside of the airship here, and I did that on purpose, seeing that my main focus is the characters and the heli, but more of that later. It's also still simple detail, which works in my favor here. There was more detail on the metal floor, but I figured I could get away with not having it.
Henry is choking Reginald, the current leader of the Toppat Clan. He also (somehow) managed to grab the Romanian Ruby. I love that fucking ruby, it's comically large. If you couldn't tell, rubies are my favorite gem.
While Henry has Reginald by the chains, Charles is doing his thing. That "thing" is in fact his plan. The greatest plan. I don't know if I did better or worse on this helicopter, but at least you see a smidgen of a fast heli blade, giving the impression that Charles is, in fact, moving in closer on Henry's location. Charles himself is actually overlayed on the window of the heli, so that he looks like he's inside it.
The sky yet again uses a gradient, and this time I get to see how Puffball does clouds (at least for this game). It's a blob, with shadows that drastically contrast the white, being much closer to the color of the sky than it is the cloud. Yet, it works. I don't know how or why, and I plan on looking into that at some point for my own work. Oh, also the clouds don't do lineart, if you couldn't tell.
