Backburner Art #1c- Rain World (Downpour Secret Campaign)
Sometimes you just gotta have a little fun.

You ever play a mode of a game that you absolutely had to cheat at because you know deep in your heart, your very soul, that there's no astral alignment that would let you complete it?
That was this campaign for me.
...so let's talk about this "art," shall we?
Yes, it's a white void. This is intentional, as it references the ending of the campaign.
If you look way back to one of my earlier posts in this tab, you'd notice that I've drawn my Artificer slugcat again. I went down the Artificer route in the ending sequence, hence why she's here. Her question marks should resonate within you if you haven't seen this ending.
Let's talk about the weird slugcat. It is usually an inverted Survivor slugcat, but because I changed my Survivor's colors, this one had to reflect that (as much as I could, but who knows?). The extra detail on them are because I needed to put those there too, for authenticity. The spindly little arms coming off of them are legit what they have in official art, that isn't me being silly (rather, it's the game designers being a little silly). They also have some hearts in their eyes, yet again referencing what the ending sequence is about.
The cursor is just a reference to how I beat this campaign. It's dragging this inverted slugcat at very fast speeds, since I didn't want to deal with the most absurd bullshit I've seen in this game to date. I fucking love this game but GOD DAMN this campaign was insane.
Notice the pink gradient filter that I have around the entire picture. Notice that Artificer is above that layer. This is also intentional, as in combination with her question marks, highlights her confusion in this particular situation.
Last, but certainly not the least, yes, that is in fact the most blandest font that I used for my signature. It's also intentional.
