Backburner Art #6a- Cuphead: Don't Deal With the Devil

...I don't know what exactly I expected with these textures. I am glad at how certain things turned out.

While I struggled with them a bit, I like the poses I have the brothers in, but the Devil is not my favorite. The body, that is, I'm quite proud of how the head turned out. My absolute favorite part (of course) is having both the fire and the contracts burning within. Plus, the colors the fire has making some cool burnt colors on other things is pretty cool.

In an effort to make the background better, I applied some of the patterns I have in Krita. I used a few, some in the background, and one over the picture overall. The one thing I wasn't expecting was that the absolute white didn't get the texture at all, which kinda messes with the feel. Granted, I think I should've left that last texture in the ditch. I also have a color overlay to give it an old-timey feel (hence why I was messing with texture), but I think the full-picture pattern messes with what it could look like.
