Backburner Art #7- Contradiction: Spot The Liar!
After a few years of not doing it, it's time I started doing cel-shading.
This is one of my most favorite works yet.
I was a bit afraid to make this one at first, but my representations of the characters I think turned out fine. The thing I'm most proud of, however, is the shading and lighting in this one. I decided to get back into Cel Shading again. It's been used in some of my earliest works, so I figured it's time to try it again. I think it works well here. Especially on Simon, who has his entire back shadowed. The cel-shading, combined with my regular touch-up with gradients and blends, made this piece come out really fucking good.
