Backlog Art #20- VVVVVV

I love it when games have simplistic designs for everything, it's fun being able to do some lineless art every once in a while.

This, if it isn't obvious, is supposed to be the crew's ship. It's actual name is the DSS Souleye, which is a badass name for a ship. Ignore the gaping holes of space in the background, they're still working on it.

I was mainly going onto the wiki to find these guys' colors, but ended up also learning a bit of their trivia. Violet and Verdigris apparently have crushes on one another, Viridian apparently has done "the boombayah" with Vermilion, whatever the fuck that means, and Victoria is antisocial. No, I am not explaining who's who, aside from Viridian, the cyan captain of the ship. All their names start with V, and that's my only hint.

The gradients here aren't exactly the rainbow gradient I made for the Mario Party one. In fact, I made two VVVVVV-specific gradients. The ship has six rooms, each one having a specific color to it, with a corresponding character associated with it (who shares a similar color). To showcase all of that, I made the gradients out of these six colors, which go around the color wheel in order to not have repeats. It was fun. Then I did it again for the background, because why not.
