Backlog Art #5- Castlevania
In which Medusa needs to go see a doctor, Mr. Belmont needs to see an apothecary, and I need to see how stairs in buildings look like.

So, the meme that I referenced in this image is the webcomic-within-a-webcomic Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff from Homestuck (if you know what either of those are, sorry).
There's a meme where Sweet Bro falls down some stairs, with Hella Jeff stating "I told you about stairs, man," while Sweet Bro yells "it keeps happening!" as he continues falling down the stairs. Hella Jeff even has an iconic face, which I put on the Medusa-Head.
The reason why I referenced this was due to a section of the game where I kept falling off of the upper-floor stairs, due to not being familiar with how the game functioned.
for the portion of the level I was replicating, the background looks good. I like how I managed to get the linework on the bricks done, but now I know of better ways to do it than I used here. The stairs, though, I could've done better.
They don't look too bad, but they connect weirdly at their corners.
Now I have to admit, Medusa I struggled with. Honestly, that result is the best outcome of all the ones I tried. Still proud of that mouth though, it looks almost exactly like that stupid fucking meme mouth.
I like how I did Simon. His falling pose looks alright, but what really sells it here is that after-image motion. It turned out very good.
