Backlog Art #9- Kirby's Dream Land

My favorite out of the two Kirby art pieces I've done so far.

Due to being a Gameboy game, there is a distinct lack of colors, only being in shades of black and white. This does not detract, however, from the art the game has, and that extends to this piece as well, if I do say so myself.

Whispy Woods looks damn-near perfect, although from the perspective he does kinda look like his leaves are all leaning back. I enjoyed making the background forest as well, as it was simple yet effective.

Kirby looks great here! He's just a little puff havin' fun, plucking apples from Whispy. True to his design, Kirby was also pretty easy to draw, and thankfully doesn't look uncanny (I believe it did take some time to make him not look like he's hiding an eldrich horror, which he probably is).
