Party Art #1c- Mario Party (Yoshi's Tropical Island)
No, I certainly didn't design what they looked like from behind on the spot. Why are you asking?

Being my home board, I of course had to win this one. Strange way to win though...
Starting with the background, let me take a moment to gush at the water rendering. I am so proud of myself for figuring out how to draw water. Granted, I only have to use a single brush tool for it, but I picked out the colors to match the scene, and it just looks beautiful! It even has some light shining off of it! The sky, while simple, fits in this scene too.
The part of the island that I drew is the Cantaloupe Island, so I did some texturing of both the grass and the cantaloupe. I like how the cantaloupe turned out.
The boo in the middle I had fun designing, basing it off of how it looks in Mario Party. Boo allows you to steal coins or stars from other players, and since there was a lot of Boo usage it's probably very rich, hence the coin bags. Boo is also a little bit see through, and has that ghostly glow around it.
At this point in time, I haven't drawn any of the four characters from behind, yes even Brustle. So I had to come up with some ideas for what they look like from behind, which really only affected Brustle (who I already sorta knew what her hair looked like, I just needed to put it into practice) and Tinker (I knew he had short hair, I just had to visualize it). All-in-all, I think they turned out exactly as I had hoped.
