Party Art #2f- Left 4 Dead (The Sacrifice)
Color blends can work right without requiring complications.

Since I am the only human player in these campaigns, I was the one that had to sacrifice myself in order to beat the campaign. It was a difficult start, and I failed the first time I attempted the finale, but I got there in the end.
While it isn't as noticeable now, what with light and props messing with the visibility, I managed to get really cool lighting coming from the inside of the buildings. It's that sort of FOV effect, where the further out your view goes, the more light blue the sky and air look, and the more dark blue the floor, walls, and objects look. Studying the picture I found to help with coloring, I noticed that the floor's color fades to a dark blue when entering the building, and the light blue open area fills up the space, since you can't see further in there, except for the car, which is also a dark blue. I did this effect by making gradients in the entryways: the light blue was bigger, but didn't reach all the way down, while the dark blue was behind the light blue, actually reaching the entire entryway's length.
As for the filter that covers all of the piece, Left 4 Dead's wiki states that it's using a sepia-colored filter over everything when you get sacrificed at the end (it's also the filter you see when playing as infected). It's really that simple: I filled the screen with sepia, then made the blend mode to Addition, and it really worked well.
