Brewing some ideas
Just wanna chat about some ideas I have.
It's been a bit.
I'm currently 1/3rd in the break week in my streams, so at the moment I'm working on my PNGtuber sprites (including my BoundBreak character, Bruss). Streams are doing good, speaking of which. I'm sure you might've noticed, since I have a lot of stream posts. I've beaten 5 games since I got back from my vacation (one of those games being an older post: Backburner #2 - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team).
I still have a lot of sprites to complete, I'm thinking about making some music for those streams, and I need to figure out a good way to implement some website stuff to make navigating easier, but I do want to talk about some ideas I have.
Game Idea: Alyssan and Co. travel the world to reach their own goals
I have three OC's that I'm having trouble finding use for. These characters are as follows:

Alyssan Lovuella: Character first made for a Terraria series I wanted to record, now is separated from Terraria because I want to use her for other things. Originally, she was some random soul lost in a world that was extremely harsh to survive (read: all secret Terraria seeds turned on, Master Mode maybe, natural spawn is halfway into the underground/caverns). Alyssan is a brave adventurer, and at some point had lycanthropy (from where I don't remember, I didn't get far in that playthrough). She is sorta templated off of 1st iteration Markie (seen above), having a golden tan of sorts, brown hair, kinda chunky/thick, with the only physical difference really being her blue eyes as opposed to the brown. Markie was more or less just a regular person who may have had a bit of a nerdy side, so basing a more active and adventurous character off of her was a strange decision. Newest character in this group.
Abi Floresta: This character was created in a strange way. During my junior high/high school years I had this Google doc where I spent ages copying and pasting links to any song off of YouTube (be it actual songs or each song from a video game soundtrack) in order to convert them to MP3. It was structured in a bizarre way, with the link to the song followed by comments in parenthesis. It was supposed to be snarky comments relating to any aspect of the song, but eventually I turned it into this narrative of sorts relating to the mood or name of a song or soundtrack centered around six characters, half of them being based off of the other half. Abi was the genderswap of Namer, who's "username" was Nami. Like him, she was kind, a bit goofy, optimistic, and yet isn't afraid to poke fun at shit. She's sorta based off of Scarlette, as previously noted, but really, the only defining feature that Ami took was the color of her hair, and even then hers is more orange than Scarlette's fully red hair. In actuality, she's based off of Scarlette in just being a ginger/redhead. Oldest character in this group.
Claire Fuzret: I haven't had the chance to make changes to this character, but she'll get one soon. She was made with other characters (whom I've no clue where they ended up) for an OBS-based game (OBS being the software I use to record and stream). There was 4 kemonomimi characters: mouse, cow, [forgot this animal], and cat. Obviously, you see who the cat is. The game had a Mario Party-based board, where you had spaces to move around on, and each space type did a different thing. The goal of the game was to fight the others and win, so there was also a fighting screen. There wasn't much else to it. I just forgot the other characters (including the last animal I used), and Claire remained because, of course, she had blue hair and has a cat motif. My favorites, if you haven't noticed. Claire is level-headed, but can get snarky and is very hot-headed. Nothing else to her, as she isn't based off of any other character of mine.

1-3: Alyssan (thumbnail for resource pack containing music; her redesign; another redesign with familiar clothing). 4-5: Abi (1st drawn instance; a later digitally made instance). 6: Claire (fighting stance).
I want to use them (and maybe some others) in some sort of project, and I have very recently thought up of an idea for them: a game.
I like collectathons, I want to get better at drawing scenery, and I want to make an immersive enough world to experience. The idea is to make a 2D collectathon game with different "worlds" to explore. The characters have goals placed that they wanna reach/do, and you start with minimum equipment. You find said equipment scattered about in the worlds you go through, letting you find new ways to explore the world. Maybe with a "goal selection" screen that functions more similar to Super Mario Sunshine or Super Mario Galaxy's star/shine selection screen than Super Mario 64's.
[What I mean by that, is that in SMS/SMG each star/shine you select to play takes you to a different variant of the level, not necessarily affected by other stars/shines you've gotten in the same world, but narratively affected by it. Who knows, though, I'm still thinking about it.]
I'm also thinking of having a cutscene between each world you unlock that acts a little bit similar to Kirby's Adventure's cutscenes, where something silly happens, but also having some dialogue and maybe showing some other unlocks.
That's all I have for this idea at the moment.
"Animation" Idea: Cat people from different clans work together to survive the end of the world
I have a video making/editing program that my grams bought me a long while ago. I want to use it more, but don't have any ideas for what to do. So I've been thinking about doing an "animated" series with it.

When I have animated in quotation marks, there's a reason. The way I want to animate it is strange. I want to use sprites that I make for it, loosely based on the way Paper Mario 64 looks, and use mostly gifs and stuff for it. I have two ideas regarding what I should make the series about:
- A long series that has each "season" being marked as an Era, with each era getting more rules to the universe that the characters are set in, and said characters are separated into teams and are trying to win.
- Three clans of cat people send 5 characters each to a magical island to claim for themselves, but it takes the characters a long time to get there / wake up and start exploring, eventually teaming up with each other once learning that the apocalypse has happened and that they're the last 15 cat people in existence.
Different goals for them, yet same way of "animating" will be used. Using my knowledge on scenes (from the little that I know), I have an idea on how to get my work flow. Each scene is an individual video made, and then edited together to form one coherent episode.
I also know that these ideas may change or maybe even merge together, but I do want to get this idea started eventually.
Those are the only two ideas I have at the moment. Thank you to anyone reading up to this point through my word salad. I should have another post coming soon about my new redesigns for my avatars. Cya.
(i spent so long looking for some of these pics [plus a pic with Abi that i am not putting here], and ended up getting a "blast" from the past, jesus christ i can't believe just how different I am compared to my younger self)
