March Update 2024

The *actual* update for this month.

Well hello there.

I've been doing many things recently. In fact, many things also happened recently. I've been a bit busy.

So, I wanna talk about a few things.

Website Changes

I've been tidying up this website over the past few days. Y'know, if you couldn't tell by the closeable announcement up top. I want it to look better, so I've done things like add this amazing thing I learned about recently called Headers. Let me show you what it can do:

BE TINY

yea, that's right

Be bigger

also be different colors

be huuuuuge

plus having alignment be changed from Mid to Left

Have Pictures!!

damn, look at that

Have GIFs

with the layout flipped, as well as being able to fit the image or make it show all

But best of all...

includes a button!

like this one

...ahem. Sorry about that. I've been having fun with them.

So yea, I've been using them to make the pages look way better, the way I wanted them to look. ESPECIALLY the picture one. The way it helps lay things out is amazing.

Now, there are other things I still can't get done at the moment for this site, but this certainly helps.

Characters

I'm gonna keep this section short, as I would like to talk about how I designed them soon, but I've been (slowly) working on Bhuster's current set of sprites. Brustle's is done, in fact if you go look at the Bhuster's Buzz characters you can see her GIF replacing the old one.

buuuuut you can also see it here:

So yea, I'm glad to have her done. Bhuster's shouldn't take as long as Brustle's did. It's still starting out slow, though: I only finished all 4 of his normal bases tonight. However, Bhuster's design doesn't require as much keeping track of as Brustle's did. Part of that is due to the single fact that Bhuster is not a cat.

Once I get his done, I'll be satisfied... then I'm gonna do a bunch of other art shit, both for streams and for this website.

Recent Shenanigans

Last post I went into a rant about content creators, their drama, and why it feels so amplified. I am not an exception; you can read how I felt in that post.

So, I thought by doing that I could feel better, but I still felt sad. Fast-forward to today (from last night), and I realized something: I'm sad because of all the changes currently happening.

The start of this year was interesting. It was February when my coworker abruptly quit, and thus my schedule was a shit-storm for a bit. Yesterday I was able to figure out what it was, but that leaves me with less streaming days (because of the 1 less day off), and due to how it was scheduled, I don't think I can hang out with people on BoundBreak on my days off, because I believe my schedule is an outlier for the way most of theirs work. I still need to figure out something about that, I'm thinking of only doing streams for when lore-related stuff happens, and having something get updated for when I casually play. To add on top of that, insert the things that happened in January with that one LPer I liked, making me learn about it recently.

All of this change is a lot. I am not one that enjoys change all too much, and since none of these are completely good (at most they're mid, like being able to make a little more money due to my extra work day, at the cost of one extra day), plus the combination of me being bored at work, and you have the reason why I'm feeling meh recently.

However, I will not succumb to this. I refuse.

I'm doing stuff to raise my mood (and sanity). A highlight from a favorite YouTuber, a new video in a Rain World related series that I adore, and speaking of, learning that the creators of Rain World are considerate of their fans by cutting ties from a company they were trying to collab with as soon as they made a TWEET that was pro-genocide.

I'm doing alright now. Tomorrow is the last day before my last two-in-a-row days off. I'll be streaming tomorrow.

That's all I wanted to talk about, I hope you enjoy yourselves the rest of the day, or night, or whenever.
