Trip down memory lane

Looking back at my first attempts to play games on the internet.

If you're reading through some of these posts, you might see a mention of me doing LP's. The earlier one was referred to LP#0, while the next one was gonna be considered my first LP. These LP's are, respectively, Super RMN World 2: Yoshi's Archipelago & Paper Mario (64). Both of these have been abandoned, and as of this point in time I have a series of streams for Paper Mario (it is my 6th Backlog series).

While the LP for Paper Mario didn't actually get to happen (it helped me realize that I didn't like editing gaming footage), the LP for Yoshi's Archipelago did... to an extent. There was 4 released videos of the LP, with a potential 2 more videos having been recorded. The last two were lost, but the first 4 videos have been found as of today. In addition to their thumbnails.

So, why am I thinking back on all of this?

...oh, right.

Streams

In an attempt to finish introducing all my stream types, I will be honoring the first ever LP I attempted (but never completed) by making it the first MODHack series I do. In addition, to make sure it doesn't become lost to time (and to make sure I don't forget how cringe I was back then), I am thinking of not only streaming me watching it, but also some other streams of mine. I'm gonna see all the eras I have so far into this.

but that's not the only thing that's making me think back.

Websites

I saw a website of a dude (who's been inactive for 3 years now on YT), where he has his own website dedicated to embedding his YouTube videos on their own pages. You read right, not playlists: individual episodes. Granted, there were stuff to take you to the next video, previous video, go back to the selection of series, etc. But, it is still reminiscent of when I was originally hosting the videos on this website, without using YouTube. Hell, that's how I found those 4 videos, it's stored somewhere on the server this site is hosted on.

Now, obviously, I've gotten hella better at this whole site bizz. I love that I can embed the playlist. Almost a year of practice doing these streams has allowed me better skills, so it's just kinda cool to look back at how GOD AWFUL I was.

Anyways, I just wanted to talk about that, nothing else here. Cya.
