The OC's from the Past (Group 8: Abandoned Stream Characters)
I talk about my OC's. This is an abandoned set of characters either created in, or created for, my streams.
Hello everybody, my name is Bhuster, and welcome back to my list of OC's.
If you don't recall the formula in which I do this in, or didn't check out the previous post, here's a run-down:
- Characters will be put in drop-down menus.
- It will mention, in this probable order: their name (on the box), a description, their personality and skills, and their roles.
- For characters that have evolved over the years, I will mention either the latest one or my favorite one.
- I will make mention of any important iterations using the angle bracket ">".
- If a character was migrated into a new group, I will mention the group, and mark any changes they have had.
Now, let us begin:
Abandoned Stream Characters
I started streaming in 2023, where I was clearing out my backlog. I've also tried some other things, most of which didn't work out.
But I have quite a few characters that I made. They aren't in use anymore, but I feel like I should at least list them for sake of cataloguing.
(I am excluding characters I make for bits, or for other games where you get to name the characters (like Pokemon), since they're still mainly in use anyway).
Hosts
Brustle Brooks
Hey, it's a furry. It's been a while since we saw one.
Brustle is an anthropomorphic cyan/teal maine coon cat. She's a bit chubby, with a huge chest. Her eyes are blue, and her hair is a darker teal/cyan. She has a cream-covered underbelly, which extends to the muzzle. The color also appears on her front paws, up to the knees on her legs, and at the top portion of her big fluffy tail. Her hair has a bit of a swoop with her bangs, a curl on the outer side of each ear, an ahoge (idiot hair) at the top back of her head (that droops), and in general her hair reaches her mid-back.
Her crop-tank (a crop top mixed with a tank top) is a pale/pastel purple, and she wears red short-shorts with it, plus some ankle-cut brown boots. She has a green collar with an emerald on it. If she's going for a more "formal" look (or at the very least, not as casual), she puts on some green arm sleeves and a blue witch's hat (with a yellow band).
She's a witch, coming from the Brooks clan of witches. She was having difficulty in finding jobs (or even starting her own thing), no thanks to her family. Eventually, she joined a group and started playing games with them (this group is called the Party Pals, of which you will see their info down in their section).
I used this character as an avatar in certain streams at one point, including in her own special stream series called the Party streams. She played multiplayer games that allowed CPU-controlled players (so mainly Mario Party and Left 4 Dead). I didn't roleplay as her, she was just the character I spoke from.
> She was originally an alternate form of Bhuster. I thought to myself "maybe I should get ahead of the curve, and make a Rule 63 version of Bhuster so that I can have a female character that isn't a familiar. She had similar colors and patterns to the older Bramble, but the blue pattern color was a bit darker. Her hair was similar to Bhuster's, except longer. Her eyes were also multi-colored: one was green, the other was purple.
Her outfit was essentially similar to Bhuster's, but because she had a big chest she got a crop tank with the same colors as Bhuster's shirt. She wore a collar with a similar color to Bramble's collar, and much like her collar she also had rubies on it; unlike Bramble's ruby gem hanging on it, Brustle's collar was spiked all around, each one being a ruby. Over her crop tank, Brustle wore a dark red hoodless jacket, zipped up.
I stopped using her because I got tired of furry characters for a bit, and also because I wanted to simplify Bhuster and Bramble into something more manageable.
Krowbot
Krowbot is a golem styled as a computer (functions like one too). It has a green casing for its big bulky tv-screen, out of the bottom of which a bendy pipe thing extends, connecting it to a panel with four wheels. The screen is usually black, with the only other color being the magenta of the lines on its screen.
It was a computer built for Bhuster. Its model is CPU27. It was snarky to Bhuster at all times, but it still for the most part did what was asked of it. In that sense, it has a strange sense of loyalty towards him.
> This character came into being because in a privated stream a CPU player beat the SSBB tourney that I had running. CPU27 then became a character at the request of a friend. It's been a while since, but now I don't really want the character.
These were hosts that either hung out with Bhuster (Krowbot), or replaced him on occasion (Brustle).
Craftroom Residents
Solais Smith
Solais was the character I used for my Terraria stream, where I was hopeful that Terraria 1.4.5 would release soon after I did it. He is dark skinned, with cyan eyes and dark blue hair (nice and tidy, with a bushy mustache). His build is a bit buff. His initial outfit consists of a purple tank-top, yellow armbands, dark red shorts, and deep dark blue boots. His current outfit changes his shirt and armbands to a vest (that matches his shorts) overtop a button-up shirt (that is the same color as his tank-top). He also wears a blue top hat (with a sky blue flower resting on it) and a pale red cape.
He had a quest to forge the ultimate sword, the Zenith. A quest he accomplished.
Andorr Carpenter
Andorr was the Minecraft character, in the only stream series that I "failed." He has a slight tan, reddish-orange hair, black eyes, and a pointy nose. He's kind of slim, and is wearing a light green shirt, dull purple pants, and gray shoes.
He was minding his own business when he was captured and thrown into the Nether. He fought and fought, but ultimately met his end. Right before he dies, a demon found him, and offered a deal to send him to safety. Naturally, he took it.
> If I continued this series, he probably would've been infected with wither or nether.
Benjamin Myz
Benjamin was the Stardew Valley character, but he only appeared in one stream (after which I abandoned the stream series entirely). He's tan, with long brown hair (the bangs are split apart, and he has a low, loose ponytail) and blue eyes. He has some blush applied to his cheeks. He wears a dark overall-dress (don't know if that's a real thing or not) over a purple t-shirt, and brown shoes. He was commonly referred to as a femboy.
He inherited a farm from his grandfather. He was going to help fix the community center, but I only made it through one stream.
Craftroom streams were gonna have me play through survival sandbox (or mostly sandbox) games. I stopped it because I couldn't juggle all of that, let alone stuff that would take a while with not that much progress in between.
Party Pals
- Clara Kori, an anthro magenta librarian mouse.
- Tinker Gear, an anthro green mechanic raccoon.
- Libra Faym, an anthro yellow fashion model fox.
- Winchester Trooper, an anthro red military bear.
- Oliver Saint, an anthro blue apothecary dog (St. Bernard).
- Willow Cypher, an anthro orange hacker wolf.
- Magus Ashton, an anthro green magician lynx.
History
I was still messing around with my streams sometimes, and eventually it got a bit overwhelming in keeping up with shit.
Brustle was the host for the Backburner, before going "full-time" into the Party streams, which then got abandoned altogether. Krowbot represented all the times that I got bad RNG in a video game, something which I got tired of.
As stated, I had a series for survival sandbox games, which also got abandoned.
The Party Pals hold mixed feelings for me. I like some of their designs and personalities, but it takes so long to draw them (and longer designing them), plus they had more hands involved than mine. I initially used the GPT thing (back when it was new, and not a new-sance) to generate Tinker, Libra, and Winchester's alpha design plans, then passed them down to friends and family, where they messed with it enough to distance it from an AI. Clara was created to give Brustle a pal when she needed a helping buddy while dueling with the others. The rest (Oliver, Willow, and Magus) are all variants of inverses regarding Brustle. While not a big reason, I no longer want characters that got their start from the Anti-Intelligence. Mainly, I just got tired of these characters, especially drawing them.
Out of all these characters, Krowbot and the Party Pals are probably not getting redrawn/redesigned. Most likely, the ones I'm gonna be messing with are Brustle and the Craftroom Residents (Clara Kori might join them, being the mouse to Brustle's cat).
Here's this set finally down. I decided to shorten my time on this by not going into too much detail on the Party Pals. They still feel too overwhelming.
I don't know exactly what else I can list, aside from some characters made in Wildermyth, and maybe the rest of the characters I have created during my streams (the ones that have bits attached to them, along with characters I create for / use in games). That last set is always getting bigger, though.
At this point, until I make more, I'm probably at the end of my list of OC's. That being said, that Wildermyth set be looking kinda cool though, so I might bring the best ones out and show them off.
