Bhuster's Backlog #23 - Cave Story+ (COMPLETE)

I first heard of this game when I was on YouTube, watching some of PkGam's walkthroughs. There was a game that, at the beginning of his playthrough, he suggested getting yourself to join him on the journey. That game... was Cave Story. It was a freeware game made by one person, and is one of the more notable indie games out there.

This... is Cave Story+. It's a remastered version for the original, which adds some content. Which ones? I dunno, but I got this game and I wanna play through it. It's such a charming game, with a good story to follow.

Since you have the option to do so, I am gonna be getting three endings all on the same save.

[SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO RUIN THE EXPERIENCE!!!]

The Bad ending just needs you to answer Yes to the coward guy with the dragon hatchling.

The Normal ending requires you to beat the boss rush and escape.

The Best ending, however, needs some work to be done:

• Don't talk to Booster in the Labyrinth; talk to him after returning to Mimiga Village, and he will give the Booster V2.0 instead of the V0.8 version.
• Grab the rope in the room before starting the fight Curly helps with, then using it on her as you head on out. Don't forget to drain her of water.
• Return her memories to her using... something, and get the Iron Band from her.
• As the island is falling apart, enter the Prefab Building, and fall into a totally safe and inconspicuous hole. That should lead you the rest of the way to the Best ending.
